Lusail Qatar Stadium electroacoustic systems design coordination (PAVA)

KEACOUSTICS LED AND COORDINATED THE TECHNICAL TEAM FOR THE ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC SYSTEMS IN THE LUSAIL STADIUM FACILITIES (QATAR), WHICH WILL HOST THE FIFA WORD CUP IN 2022.

The client required a team of electro-acoustic design specialists to write the specifications for coverage and intelligibility of spoken words and deal with management profiles for communication with the supplier.

Lusail Stadium holds around 3000 venues, other than the bowl and the entire spectator seating area. Each of these venues is characterised by different dimensions, geometries, and interior linings, which result in spaces for different performances and acoustic designs. After grouping the venues into 5 different types, the position and number of loudspeakers required to meet the coverage and speech intelligibility requirements of the PAVA (Public Address Voice Alarm) system were designed for each type.
